Protecting Girls — Ending Early Marriage & FGM
SAWFAHA works to protect girls and empower communities by confronting harmful practices head-on. In February 2026, our team held an awareness and training session in Bardhere District, Gedo Region, Jubaland State, focused on ending early marriage and eradicating female genital mutilation (FGM). Through open dialogue and education, we shared key messages that early marriage steals childhood, that FGM carries serious health risks, and that every girl has the right to education guided by our mission to Protect Girls, Empower Communities, and Build a Better Future.
